Associate Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create pertinent medical affairs content such as abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters/presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education materials, social media posts, infographics, videos, multimedia, and various other types of externally-facing medical content.

• Conduct research, organize, compile, interpret, and perform quality checks on diverse types of technical and/or medical content.

• Offer solutions to stakeholders in conjunction with the manager for all projects and collaborate with other teams (Graphics, Compliance agency, Statistics teams, etc.).

• Ensure all projects are executed within designated timelines while meeting all quality and compliance standards for medical content.

• Provide training on relevant tools and processes, including new generative AI technology platforms, to ensure efficient and compliant execution of all medical affairs content.

• Monitor the progress of projects and address any issues/problems with guidance from the manager.

• Identify and train to become an expert in one new tool/skill for content creation that reflects the latest industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (e.g., MS, MRes, MPharm, PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine, encompassing medical affairs and medical compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of individual tasks and align with more experienced colleagues regarding scope, timelines, quality expectations, etc.

• Strong interpersonal skills to rapidly establish rapport and credibility with colleagues and key external stakeholders across different cultures/regions.

• Experience in medical content writing, academic writing, or communications within an agency, CRO, or Pharma/Biotech Company.

• Proficient in English verbal and written communication with the adaptability to be clear, consistent, compliant, and suitable for various contexts.

• Proven capability to work effectively in a team and understand the role of technology in medical content development.
