Associate Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Legal Counsel and Management to provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding new laws that affect the healthcare sector.

• Identify and assess newly enacted and modified federal, state, and local legislation, regulations, and other legal directives.

• Perform legal research, interpret laws, and evaluate the relevance of new legislation to the organization.

• Analyze and communicate new legal obligations to internal stakeholders.

• Work in conjunction with Legal Counsel and partners on matters of legal and regulatory compliance.

• Offer practical advice to internal clients on legal challenges associated with the enterprise-wide adoption of new legal requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, healthcare organization, or in a judicial clerkship.

• Must be admitted to practice law in at least one state and maintain good standing with the relevant state bar association(s).
