Associate Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold features across the entire stack, including C#/.NET backend services, React front-end components, and SQL data access layers.

• Write clean, well-tested code with a low defect rate and embrace constructive feedback to enhance quality over time.

• Carry out assigned user stories with minimal supervision, ensuring to ask clear questions early to avoid rework.

• Actively engage in sprint ceremonies such as standups, backlog grooming, story breakdown, and retrospectives.

• Integrate AI coding tools (like Claude, Windsurf, or Cursor) into your daily development workflow—not as shortcuts, but as means to generate superior code more efficiently.

• Utilize AI assistance for tasks such as code generation, debugging, test writing, and navigating unfamiliar codebases.

• Adhere to team standards for reviewing and validating AI-generated code prior to committing.

• Stay receptive to adopting new AI tools as team practices evolve.

• Proactively communicate with your team lead, scrum master, and product owner, including notifying them of any potential work delays.

• Collaborate with QA to facilitate testing and resolve defects.

• Gain an understanding of OSV’s business and recognize how your work influences customer experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Demonstrated comprehension of object-oriented programming principles.

• Proficient knowledge of C# or a similarly strongly-typed OOP language (C#/.NET is our stack).

• Basic SQL skills—capable of writing queries, understanding joins, and reasoning about data.

• Fundamental understanding of web services and client-server architecture (REST/SOAP/JSON).

• Proven excellence in coursework or projects, reflected in a strong GPA and/or tangible output.

• Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a visible eagerness to learn new tools and platforms.

• Experience using an AI coding assistant (such as Windsurf, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) in coursework, personal projects, or internships—expertise is not required, but hands-on exposure is essential.

• Familiarity with the basics of prompting for code generation and the importance of reviewing AI output before implementation.
