Associate Engineer – Data Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize technology to automate and enhance validations, profile data, implement business rules, visualize outcomes, and collaborate with data stewards across all applications and business lines to resolve any data quality challenges.

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert between the business and IT to ensure data requirements are precise and comprehensive, while also confirming that the output aligns with acceptance criteria.

• Support validation processes, establish appropriate controls through point-to-point testing, and employ source to target mapping to guarantee high-quality results for all data implementations and projects.

• Aid in troubleshooting, tracing, and pinpointing root causes of quality issues, which includes analyzing Stored Procedures, STTM documents, and source data.

• Contribute to the monitoring of controls and assist in remediation efforts as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 1 year of experience working with data.

• Data Governance Certification (such as Dataversity, ICCP, CDMP, or others) is preferred.

• Technical proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, and/or others is preferred.
