Associate Director – State Health and Human Services Technology

📋 Description

• The Associate Director of Management Consulting within Guidehouse's State and Local Government Practice oversees delivery teams on significant State & Local Government client projects while spearheading business development initiatives.

• Developing strategies to collect information from clients about their structure, processes, technology, and organizational culture.

• Leading meetings with client stakeholders to gather essential information.

• Overseeing quality control for project outputs to ensure they align with Guidehouse's quality standards.

• Utilizing Guidehouse frameworks and best practices to identify and execute program enhancements for clients.

• Effectively managing project resources to achieve objectives while providing ongoing feedback and coaching.

• Promoting business development efforts, including responses to RFPs, proposal creation, and participating in account planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in the State/Local Health and Human Services sector.

• Experience in delivering HHS projects, which may include Integrated Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and/or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Familiarity with core and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enterprise platforms.

• Demonstrated success in client solution delivery and achieving impactful technology outcomes in the HHS field.

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Expertise in Government Procurement, including knowledge of the HHS procurement lifecycle, experience in crafting compelling RFP/RFI responses, and familiarity with contract vehicles and state-specific procurement processes.

• Willingness to travel for meetings as required.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident.

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST before joining Guidehouse.

• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP or SAFe Agilist are preferred.
