Associate Director – Pharmacometrician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• **Your primary responsibilities will encompass, but are not confined to:**

• Lead and conduct population pharmacokinetic analyses utilizing advanced modeling tools and techniques.

• Innovate and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and precision of pharmacokinetic analyses.

• Design, evaluate, and interpret clinical pharmacology studies (renal, hepatic, TQT, ADME, DDI, BE/BA, SAD, MAD, etc.) while offering guidance to optimize PK sampling and dosing strategies.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients, take ownership of deliverables, and create clinical pharmacology plans.

• Compose and review pharmacokinetic reports along with the clinical pharmacology sections of regulatory documents.

• Act as a representative for clients in discussions with regulatory authorities and contribute to business development and relationship management.


⛳️ Requirements

• **To be successful, we seek the following qualifications and characteristics:**

• A degree in life sciences, healthcare, and/or business administration.

• A minimum of 6 to 10 years of pertinent professional experience, including drug development, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacometrics.

• Regulatory experience, particularly in preparing regulatory reports, is crucial. Familiarity with regulatory submissions such as Investigational New Drug (IND) applications, Clinical Trial Applications (CTA), regulatory meetings, and marketing authorization submissions (NDA/BLA/MAA) is required.

• Proficiency in NONMEM, Pirana, and R is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and financial management abilities.
