• The Associate Director of Strategic Accounts is vital in furthering enterprise goals by enhancing engagement with key clinics, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and academic institutions throughout the Great Lakes region (MI, OH, IN, PA).
• This role entails driving strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and executing plans effectively to boost the adoption of essential resources, enhance customer experiences, and achieve measurable business outcomes.
• The ideal candidate will be a highly cooperative, inherently accountable, and insights-oriented professional with a strong executive presence, outstanding planning capabilities, and the ability to influence complex healthcare systems.
• The ADSA will oversee the implementation of strategic account plans, closely collaborating with Sobi’s cross-functional teams (such as RBD, CAM, Medical, Market Access, Compliance, etc.).
• Furthermore, the ADSA will ensure alignment across all sites within priority accounts, guaranteeing consistent execution of formulary status, prior authorization guidelines, EMR configurations, and treatment pathway integration.
• A Bachelor’s degree in science, medicine, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in field sales.
• At least 3 years of experience managing complex institutional accounts (GPOs, IDNs, academic centers) within the realms of rare diseases, specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
• Comprehensive understanding of GPO influence within key accounts.
• Proven success in adding medical benefit products to hospital formularies.
• Exceptional skills in account and stakeholder management, including relationships with C-suite and D-suite executives.
• Demonstrated expertise in biologic and oncolytic distribution and acquisition across clinics, academic centers, and IDNs, while engaging pharmacy and purchasing stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to effectively coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge of complex diseases.
• Managerial courage and the ability to navigate organizational agility.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within a vast territory (MI, OH, IN, PA).
