This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.
• Spearhead the creation of product and innovation strategies focusing on the individual market and new solution areas.
• Convert enterprise and market objectives into applicable product strategies, value propositions, and expansion plans.
• Discover and amplify new growth avenues, including lifestyle-focused products, population-specific solutions, and related offerings.
• Establish market-specific right-to-win strategies, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.
• Lead the formulation of business cases, assessing return on investment, growth, and margin impacts in collaboration with actuarial and finance teams.
• Advocate for the enhancement of product performance utilizing member insights, behavioral data, and market intelligence.
• Ensure that new solutions are compatible with the existing product portfolio, benefit design standards, and member value propositions.
• Enhance modular product design to boost scalability, consistency, and speed to market across different markets.
• Oversee product lifecycle performance, encompassing launch readiness, post-launch optimization, and long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate with product execution, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure preparedness and adherence to all requirements.
• Develop and execute the member incentives platform, including rewards, engagement programs, and vendor partnerships.
• Define and innovate the program structure, eligibility, and value proposition while considering member engagement and retention objectives.
• Collaborate with other teams and external vendors to deliver scalable and compliant incentive solutions.
• Assist in ongoing refinement of the incentive platform and partnership models post-launch, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance membership engagement.
• Act as a senior connector among actuarial, network, market leadership, compliance, regulatory, finance, and growth teams.
• Foster consensus, ensuring effective decision-making and execution.
• Manage dependencies, timelines, and trade-offs alongside peers to guarantee execution and achievement of results.
• Influence strategic decisions within a matrixed organization without possessing direct authority.
• Lead intricate programs that span multiple markets, partners, and products.
• Analyze outcomes and provide recommendations to enhance product performance or scale across geographies based on data-driven insights.
• Provide leadership oversight for direct reports, including coaching, conducting regular meetings, and providing direction.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in health insurance, product strategy, ACA marketplace, or small group product sectors.
• Proven experience leading teams without direct authority and developing processes that enhance speed to market.
• Experience in supporting or managing product lifecycle execution, including design and launch phases.
• Background in working within a matrixed environment.
• Experience managing complex programs (e.g., growth, product innovation) involving multiple matrixed partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
