This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.
• Take ownership of the development and enhancement of the employer-subsidized product strategy, which encompasses target segments, value proposition, and a market expansion roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Growth, Sales, and ICHRA leadership.
• Lead and contribute to business cases related to new products, including assessments of return on investment to drive growth in membership and profitability while ensuring a positive brand experience.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across employer-sponsored, individual, and adjacent product areas.
• Define strategies for market-specific competitive advantage, competitive positioning, and expansion priorities.
• Convert enterprise and market-level strategies into relevant product programs with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with peers to translate strategies into scalable, fileable product designs.
• Ensure that ICHRA and new solutions are aligned with product architecture, benefit design standards, and member value propositions.
• Foster consistency and reusability through modular product design, steering clear of one-off or fragmented solutions.
• Support the development of competitive product offerings, guided by market insights, pricing considerations, and member feedback.
• Act as the primary connector among key stakeholders including actuarial, network, market leadership, compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate strategy, distribution, and growth to ensure alignment with competing priorities, facilitating timely decision-making and execution.
• Establish metrics, including growth, retention, margin, and market competitiveness in partnership with corporate finance.
• Assist in the development of business cases and manage vendor and partner relationships related to new solutions, while ensuring that operational processes are in place to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, commercial product strategy, or commercial insurance product management, with direct leadership of a high-performing team.
• Experience in the ACA marketplace (serving multiple markets), including individual or small group segments.
• Proven experience in leading programs.
• Familiarity with insurance product lifecycle management, including design and execution readiness.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
