This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with clients, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders to comprehend data distribution needs.
• Conduct data analysis, profiling, and mapping to ensure accurate client deliverables.
• Develop and sustain data distribution extracts, SQL queries, and scripts with assistance from senior team members.
• Aid in optimizing data extract scripts for enhanced performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Validate outputs, investigate data discrepancies, and participate in root cause analysis when issues occur.
• Document requirements, workflows, data mappings, and technical decisions to facilitate consistent delivery.
• Engage in client meetings, project discussions, and internal sessions to understand requirements and convey progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to address data challenges and foster a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
• Bring curiosity and suggestions for process enhancements, automation, and more efficient work methods.
• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent academic, project, internship, or professional experience relevant to data engineering, analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Proficient in SQL programming, capable of writing queries, analyzing data, and troubleshooting outcomes.
• Familiarity with data analysis, profiling, reporting, mapping, or validation through coursework, internships, projects, research, or prior employment.
• Interest in healthcare data and systems, including membership, claims, provider, or related healthcare datasets.
• Ability to manage large or complex datasets and apply analytical reasoning to resolve business and technical challenges.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a readiness to conduct root cause analysis on data, processes, and outputs.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity, humility, and a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and healthcare data concepts.
• A desire to contribute individually while also collaborating closely with teammates.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
• Experience or coursework related to AWS, Azure, Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, performance tuning, query optimization, ETL, or data pipeline development is not mandatory.
