This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise compliance programs and infrastructure.
• Draft, evaluate, and sustain compliance policies, procedures, and operational controls.
• Aid in establishing scalable compliance and risk management processes throughout the organization.
• Support the activities of the compliance committee, including reporting and follow-up measures.
• Lead and assist with client, government, and internal audit functions, encompassing Medicaid and Medicare Advantage audits.
• Coordinate responses to audits, document collection, issue tracking, and remediation initiatives.
• Oversee both external and internal corrective action plans (CAPs) from initiation to resolution.
• Execute internal audits, monitoring activities, and compliance risk evaluations.
• Offer practical legal and regulatory counsel concerning healthcare compliance, including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, HIPAA, and associated healthcare regulations.
• Assist with privacy compliance efforts and provide advice on HIPAA-related issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Security, Product, HR, and Client Success teams to integrate compliance into everyday operations.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
• Active bar license in good standing.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare law, healthcare compliance, or a similar regulatory role.
• Proficient understanding of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, HIPAA, and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in supporting audits, investigations, corrective action plans, and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
