This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Conduct incident response across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Perform basic malware analysis.
• Develop and enhance processes for incident detection and response execution.
• Utilize high-quality written and verbal communication to deliver recommendations and findings to customer management.
• Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, podcasts, and presentations at various events.
• Manage internal programs or teams.
• Practical experience of 0 - 2 years.

• Communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding.
• Incident Response: Experience in executing or managing an organization's incident response, with a background in investigating targeted threats such as sustained targeted attacks, organized crime, and hacktivism.
• Computer Forensic Analysis: Knowledge of using various forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of breaches.
• System Administration: Understanding of systems and tools necessary for implementing and repairing defenses.
• Network Forensic Analysis: Knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and the ability to analyze associated network logs.
• Malware Analysis: Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis to understand the nature of malware.
• Incident Management: Deep understanding of targeted attacks and the capability to create tactical and strategic remediation plans tailored to compromised organizations.
• Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: Profound understanding of secure network architecture and extensive experience in executing network operations.
• Programming/Scripting: Coding experience in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• Currently residing in Japan (full remote work within Japan is possible).
• High business-level to native-level Japanese language skills (including writing) required for direct communication with local clients, with the ability to create documents without language proofreading support.
• Business-level English proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Japanese speakers residing in Australia are also highly welcome!
