This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Lead large development teams, ensuring technical alignment and adherence to quality standards.

• Define complex architectures using various architectural patterns, while respecting functional and business constraints.

• Apply techniques for evaluating complex architectures to propose institutional guidelines and best practices.

• Execute proof of concepts to validate solution alternatives and support strategic architectural decisions.

• Research and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies that enhance operational efficiency.

• Train and mentor engineers and development leaders to strengthen the technical capabilities of the team.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, database, and risk areas to define the comprehensive architecture of projects.

• Assess technical solutions under the DevOps and DevSecOps philosophy to ensure agile and secure deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Developer and a minimum of 2 years in a Software/Solutions Architect role, preferably in the financial sector and AWS cloud environments.

• Proficiency in Java EE or the Microsoft .Net ecosystem.

• Experience managing Oracle and SQL Server databases.

• Deep understanding of design patterns and microservices architecture.

• Application of agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BIAN.

• Experience with hybrid environments (On-Premise and Cloud) and a DevOps/DevSecOps culture.
