Armis Security Specialist – OT, IoT, Laboratory Environment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Armis in laboratory settings.

• Set up, optimize, and oversee Armis policies, alerts, and classifications of devices.

• Enhance risk scoring models and detection algorithms to minimize false positives.

• Keep a precise inventory of lab, OT, and IoT devices.

• Collaborate on strategies for risk mitigation and remediation.

• Establish and uphold security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory environments.

• Set up and manage alerts for detecting anomalies and potential threats.

• Investigate and prioritize incidents using Armis and related tools.

• Assist in incident response tasks, including containment and recovery efforts.

• Partner closely with scientists and lab teams to synchronize security measures with workflows.

• Conduct training and awareness sessions on the secure use of laboratory devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Armis or comparable OT/IoT security platforms.

• 2 to 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or OT/IoT security.

• Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.

• Knowledge of firewalls, NAC, and network segmentation.

• Experience with asset discovery, anomaly detection, and risk scoring.

• Proven track record in developing security procedures, runbooks, or SOPs.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
