
Area Sales Manager – Enabling Technologies, Neurosurgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engage in direct sales meetings with physicians, nurses, and other key decision-makers within the designated sales territory to showcase, educate, and sell Medtronic Surgical Technologies' capital and disposable products.
• Accountable for effectively implementing Sales Action Plans.
• Strategically plan and execute sales calls to all pertinent hospital departments, outpatient surgery centers, and physicians' offices within the territory.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions both within and outside the territory.
• Offer assistance and service to clinical staff regarding the Products in surgical settings.
• Maintain and ensure that any company-owned equipment and inventory are kept in optimal condition.
• Report competitive activity in the territory to the Region Manager and ensure all records and reports are maintained and submitted promptly as required.
• Adhere to the Medtronic Surgical Technologies Quality System.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, Medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; or
• Associate's Degree with 6+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, Medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; or
• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, Medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy.
