This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Inspire, manage, and cultivate a high-achieving team of sales professionals.
• Supervise and guide a team of 9–12 Neuroscience Health and Science Professionals.
• Oversee recruitment, coaching, professional development, and performance management.
• Drive sales performance for the product portfolio.
• Evaluate key stakeholders and emerging trends in the business landscape.
• Coach and monitor Neuroscience Health & Science Professionals while maintaining regular customer engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing, channel partners, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to selling activities, as well as legal and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute strategic plans, business plans, and district-level budgets.
• Organize, plan, and track Area Team performance.
• Ensure effective use of promotional materials and assess field implementation.
• Analyze data to uncover market trends and identify key account opportunities.
• Establish relationships with customers, KOLs, key stakeholders, channel partners, and Area Management Teams.
• Engage customers in clinical discussions and mentor NHSPs on customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing during the Operational Planning process.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools and platforms effectively.
• Mentor and guide team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and competencies.
• Foster team culture, colleague engagement, and morale.
• Encourage feedback and promote continuous improvement.
• Set team objectives and ensure accountability among team members.
• Report to the Regional Business Director.
• Travel within the district and participate in Area/National Meetings as required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role demonstrating influence across peer and customer groups.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the last 7 years disqualifies candidates from consideration.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including field and overnight trips.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor others, and supervise colleagues' work.
• MBA or a relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Preferred experience of 5 or more years in people management.
• Specialty experience and expertise are strongly preferred.
• Capability to develop team expertise across a wider range of content.
• A mindset geared toward cross-functional collaboration.
• Digital and L&C training to ensure compliance with contracting permissions/guidelines.
• Ability to lead through change with agility and adaptability.
• Advanced virtual communication skills and experience in remote collaboration.
• Increased proficiency with virtual and digital tools/platforms.
• Data-driven management of resources and channel deployment.
• Multimodal coaching capabilities in a hybrid environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, facilitation, and strategic execution skills.
• Capability to analyze sales data and use call-reporting software/applications.
• Strong collaborative, motivational leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Enterprise thinking with the ability to anticipate consequences.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
