This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Inspire, manage, and nurture a high-performing group of 9–12 Neuroscience Health & Science Professionals.
• Oversee Area Team operations, which includes hiring, coaching, representative development, and managing performance.
• Propel sales performance for the business portfolio while evaluating area stakeholders and market trends.
• Coach and monitor representatives, maintaining regular communication with customers.
• Formulate and execute Area Team strategic plans, business plans, and district-level budgets.
• Organize and assess performance to maximize the business potential of the Area Team.
• Ensure effective use and implementation of promotional materials.
• Proactively analyze data to spot market trends.
• Identify and cultivate key account opportunities that impact Area/National business.
• Foster relationships with customers, KOLs, key stakeholders, channel partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Engage customers in clinical discussions and mentor representatives on effective customer engagement.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing on strategies, business imperatives, and objectives during the Op Plan process.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools and platforms for operational efficiency.
• Mentor and guide team members on selling techniques, product knowledge, and capabilities.
• Ensure compliance for both self and team with relevant policies and processes; escalate issues as needed.
• Employ situational and multimodal leadership and coaching approaches.
• Cultivate a positive team culture, colleague engagement, morale, feedback, and ongoing improvement.
• Set team objectives and ensure accountability among team members.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales is necessary.
• At least 3–5 years in a role that showcases leadership among peer and customer groups.
• Preferred experience includes working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
• Must have the ability to travel as needed to foster internal and external relationships.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards are required.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify candidates from hiring.
• A range of diverse leadership experiences, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing colleagues’ work.
• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Preferred candidates will have 5 or more years of people management experience.
• Must demonstrate the ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and fulfill Pfizer business imperatives.
• Specialty experience and expertise are strongly preferred.
• Capability to enhance team expertise across a wider portfolio of content.

• Additional digital and L&C training to ensure compliance with contracting permissions and guidelines.
• Ability to lead change, demonstrate agility, and adapt as needed.

• Proficiency with virtual and digital tools/platforms is essential.
• Advanced virtual communication skills for customer engagement, team management, and remote collaboration.
• Data-driven resource management for channel deployment is necessary.
• Multimodal coaching abilities are required.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities are essential.
• Ability to analyze and draw insights from sales data and call-reporting software and applications.
• Must think strategically and execute flawlessly.
• Strong collaborative, motivational leadership, and stakeholder-management skills are necessary.
• Enterprise thinking and the ability to anticipate consequences are critical.
• Excellent facilitation skills are required.
• Willingness to travel throughout the district and attend Area/National Meetings is necessary.
• Field travel and occasional overnight travel are required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
