Architect, Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architectural vision for an advanced data layer tailored specifically for Agentic AI.

• Create a comprehensive blueprint for a modern data layer that effectively integrates structured, unstructured, and relational (Graph) data for AI agents.

• Manage the health, security, and performance enhancement of our data clusters (Snowflake/Kinetica), ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical AI operations.

• Serve as the 'Face of Engineering' for clients. Facilitate discovery workshops, set technical expectations, and align the architectural roadmap with their business goals.

• Set benchmarks for data latency and retrieval precision, ensuring the data layer is equipped to meet the real-time requirements of agentic execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in system architecture and data engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise in architecting solutions for Snowflake (Data Cloud) and Kinetica (Real-time/Vector/OLAP).

• Capability to design Property Graphs or RDF schemas that represent enterprise entities in a machine-readable 'World Model'.

• Extensive understanding of data orchestration methodologies (Change Data Capture, Streaming, and Batch).

• Strong database administration skills—strategies for partitioning, indexing, vacuuming, and resource scaling in cloud-native settings.
