Arborist – Foreman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Operate and drive a bucket truck

• Lead a crew consisting of 2 to 3 individuals

• Manually clear vegetation from designated work areas

• Utilize various types of forestry equipment

• Carry out line clearance, pruning, and tree removals

• Acquire skills to operate a bucket at heights of 75 feet and handle equipment safely

• Learn to ascend trees using the appropriate tools for the trade

• Obtain and uphold necessary licenses and certifications relevant to the role

• Complete required post-offer physical examination, drug screening, background investigation, and motor vehicle record check

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in the tree care industry is essential

• Current and valid CDL A or B with Air Brake endorsement is preferred

• Demonstrated record of safety compliance

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification

• Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Physical ability to meet the demands of the position

• Willingness and capability to learn bucket operation at heights of up to 75 feet

• Eagerness and ability to learn tree climbing techniques using appropriate tools

• Commitment to obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and certifications

• Successfully complete a post-offer physical examination and drug screening

• Successfully undergo a background check and motor vehicle record review

• Maintain a clean safety record
