Applications Controls Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establishes the technical groundwork for automation and integration possibilities within BW Packaging.

• Converts customer needs into precise, actionable system concepts and layouts that facilitate accurate estimates, confident proposals, and dependable execution.

• Collaborates across functions to influence the front-end technical definition.

• Promotes clarity, feasibility, and consensus to outline well-defined, actionable automation and integration solutions.

• Develops and updates layout drawings that illustrate proposed system configurations and facility limitations.

• Creates and verifies estimating inputs related to controls, such as engineering hours, assembly efforts, and material needs.

• Works alongside Sales and Business Development to cultivate opportunities and steer customer technical conversations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is mandatory.

• Solid comprehension of packaging systems, automation, and integrated solutions.

• Proven experience in developing system concepts and layouts for capital equipment or automation initiatives.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and standard productivity tools.

• Capability to convert customer requirements into clear, well-structured technical definitions.

• Strong communication skills across both technical and commercial teams.

• Adaptability to assume evolving responsibilities that align with strategic goals and business needs.
