Application Security Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• You will take full ownership of Hightouch's application security framework from start to finish.

• Influence the security landscape as we expand from 70 to over 140 engineers.

• Tackle complex challenges that lie at the crossroads of security and distributed systems.

• Enhance our rate limiting, abuse detection mechanisms, and the precision of access control.

• Assist with our multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure, including the launch of Hightouch in new areas to comply with data residency regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as one of the initial security hires (within the first 1-3) at a SaaS or data infrastructure organization.

• Expertise in securing multi-tenant platforms, including tenant isolation and authorization frameworks.

• Knowledge of cloud security for systems that operate across multiple clouds and interact with customer-owned accounts.

• Involvement in the design and construction of data infrastructure as an early engineer, rather than merely being a user.

• Familiarity with privacy-related security measures, including PII management, data residency, and technical controls for GDPR/CCPA compliance.
