This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Offer guidance and support regarding system architecture and processes, focusing on the interoperability between ESCO and EURES/Europass.
• Develop a strategy aimed at enhancing efficiency in IT operations for the Project.
• Prepare and maintain architectural designs and technical documentation.
• Coordinate and review existing system processes.
• Participate in workshops and meetings with external stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating systems to identify discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
• Engage with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers.
• Analyze the integration of various information systems.
• Conduct data analysis and data modeling.
• Oversee the implementation of the technical architecture.
• Serve as a technical liaison between project leaders and developers.
• Produce software architecture documentation.
• Take part in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user meetings.
• Provide support during relevant phases of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
• Create designs and blueprints for Cloud Architecture.
• Review the architecture of current systems to facilitate migration to the cloud.
• Design and develop architectural components and building blocks utilizing cloud components.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• A decade of IT experience, ideally in software development with Java.
• Proficiency with the Semantic Web Stack, including RDF/OWL processing using Apache Jena, SPARQL, triple stores (GraphDB, Apache Fuseki), and semantic reasoning engines.
• At least 10 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools.
• Practical knowledge in conducting system vulnerability assessments.
• Strong understanding of microservices and cloud architecture.
• Cloud and Enterprise architecture certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Cobit.
• Experience or knowledge of Archimate.
• Skills in AI and Machine Learning integration, architecture governance frameworks, and MLOps.
• Ability to respond swiftly and efficiently to unexpected events.
• Competence in delivering both business and technical presentations.
