APAC Regional Maintenance Reliability Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Oversee maintenance reliability and continuous improvement projects throughout our APAC manufacturing network.

• Establish, implement, and enhance the regional maintenance strategy.

• Create and enforce maintenance standards, policies, and procedures across APAC locations.

• Promote the implementation of preventive, predictive, and reliability-based maintenance (RBM) across the region.

• Ensure the standardization of CMMS, maintenance KPIs, reporting, and asset management practices.

• Responsible for plant availability, equipment reliability, and maintenance performance KPIs throughout the region.

• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for significant failures and recurring issues.

• Ensure adherence to HSE, statutory, and regulatory standards.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Site Maintenance Managers and regional specialists.

• Oversee and develop regional maintenance budgets, cost structures, and efficiency enhancement plans.

• Serve as the regional maintenance authority for CAPEX projects, new production lines, major shutdowns, and plant upgrades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance settings.

• Demonstrable experience in heavy industry, process manufacturing, or continuous production operations.

• Experience as a Maintenance Manager in heavy industry is a significant advantage.

• Leadership experience across regional or multi-site operations is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with APAC regulations, culture, and operational complexities is beneficial.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Reliability or maintenance certifications, such as CMRP or similar, are advantageous.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving techniques is desirable.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across diverse cultures, languages, and organizational levels.

• Proven capability to lead in multicultural environments and within matrix organizations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management competencies.

• Solid technical background in mechanical and electrical systems.

• Robust understanding of reliability engineering and asset lifecycle management.

• Proficient in using CMMS and making data-driven decisions.

• Skilled in data analysis and statistics, including maintenance systems and relevant software.

• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in additional languages spoken within the APAC region is an advantage.
