Android Software Engineer – AI Finance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Develop and launch Android features utilizing Kotlin.

• Design seamless mobile experiences for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to streamline complex user journeys.

• Integrate backend APIs while ensuring mobile flows are stable, secure, and reliable.

• Enhance app performance, reduce crash rates, improve loading states, responsiveness, and memory efficiency.

• Utilize analytics, user behavior insights, and production challenges to refine the product.

• Create AI-enhanced mobile experiences only where they meaningfully enhance the user journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.

• Strong foundation in Android principles and proven experience in deploying production applications.

• Comprehensive understanding of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture.

• Keen awareness of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.

• Experience with REST API integration and debugging production issues.

• Quick execution, a high level of ownership, and a strong focus on product quality.

• Providing app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or examples of completed work is highly advantageous.
