This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.
• Disassemble APKs and native libraries to identify vulnerabilities, logic bombs, and covert payloads.
• Utilize tools such as Frida, Ghidra, IDA Pro, and JADX to unveil hidden internals and identify poor practices.
• Bypass obfuscation methods, identify malware signatures, and reverse-engineer custom protocols.
• Perform analysis on both Java/Kotlin and native (C/C++) code in both static and runtime environments.
• Develop anti-tamper and anti-reverse engineering measures that hinder future attempts.
• Mentor development teams subtly—ensuring the creation of secure-by-default code.
• Maintain a proactive stance against Android threat actors. If it’s a zero-day, you’ve already anticipated it.
• Produce reports that read like confessions from threat actors—because you understand their mindset.
• Over 5 years of experience in deep Android reverse engineering, mobile application hacking, or security research (or a Master’s degree with substantial project experience).
• Expertise in Android internals—ART/Dalvik, Zygote, Binder, and related components.
• Proficiency with tools such as Frida, Ghidra, APKTool, Dex2Jar, Magisk modules, and Xposed—whatever gets the job done.
• Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin and native C/C++ (knowledge of ARM assembly is a significant advantage).
• Experience with obfuscation frameworks (DexGuard, ProGuard) and strategies for overcoming them.
• Keen intuition for threat modeling, exploit chains, and mobile malware operations.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Mobile Top 10—but you likely have crafted a more comprehensive list.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
• Flexible work hours and the possibility of remote work.
• A collaborative and innovative work environment.
