Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Participate in the creation and upkeep of our Android SDK, emphasizing performance, security, and user experience.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers.

• Assist in ensuring compatibility across a wide range of Android devices, from budget to premium options.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Engage in code reviews and apply feedback to enhance code quality.

• Help troubleshoot issues and address performance challenges.

• Remain informed about the latest Android development best practices and emerging technologies.

• Contribute to the enhancement of development workflows, including testing and release procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Android Developer with practical knowledge in Kotlin and/or Java.

• Familiarity with Android frameworks and the development of mobile applications or SDK functionalities.

• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and their integration.

• Experience in testing (unit or integration) and debugging processes.

• Understanding of mobile application architecture and best practices (e.g., MVVM, clean architecture – exposure is sufficient).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn.

• Effective communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting.
