Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Engage in exciting and intricate features, ranging from straightforward tasks such as creating custom views and APIs to advanced areas including 2D/3D graphics, VR, AI, CRDT, and similar technologies.

• Construct a modular codebase, perform comprehensive code reviews, and adhere to best practices and coding standards.

• Leverage popular Android libraries and Kotlin solutions.

• Participate in all facets of product development, from pixel-perfect design to analytics, payment processing, and user authentication.

• Write tests, refactor existing code, enhance current implementations, and resolve bugs.

• Collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled developers, designers, and managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Android development.

• Proficiency with Android frameworks, libraries, services, and the ecosystem (e.g., Android SDK, Dagger, Jetpack, Apache Commons, etc.).

• Knowledge of best practices including SOLID, STUPID, design patterns, writing tests, and creating self-documenting or well-documented code.

• Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages.

• Experience with databases such as SQL, SQLite, Room, etc.

• Familiarity with concurrent and parallel development, including Kotlin coroutines and RxJava.

• Knowledge of supporting technologies - REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Git, Protobuf, etc.
