Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Create a native Android streaming application utilizing Kotlin and contemporary architectural patterns.

• Implement real-time video streaming with integrated camera and microphone functionalities.

• Develop an interactive chat system that includes moderation tools and features for viewer engagement.

• Enhance application performance for uninterrupted streaming sessions and improved battery efficiency.

• Integrate with APIs from streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, and others.

• Work collaboratively with backend and design teams to drive feature development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Android development with a strong grasp of modern technologies.

• Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java, including knowledge of Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack libraries.

• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and modular applications.

• Understanding of Camera APIs, MediaRecorder, and media frameworks.

• Proven experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt.

• Strong background in working with RESTful APIs.

• Excellent skills in testing (JUnit, Espresso, UI testing).

• Experience with Java Native Interface (JNI) and C/C++ is a plus.

• Prior experience with mobile streaming implementations or frameworks is highly desirable.
