Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance features within Masabi's native Android application, providing ticketing, fare payment, and journey experiences for riders utilizing our transit agencies.

• Integrate Justride SDK and public API functionalities into the application, transforming platform features into practical tools for riders.

• Write clean and maintainable Kotlin code that remains robust across a white-label codebase catering to multiple agency deployments.

• Utilize Coroutines and Flow to ensure the application remains responsive and reliable under real-world conditions.

• Collaborate with our platform teams to ensure SDK and API functionalities are effectively implemented in the application, while also relaying genuine app requirements back to the platform roadmap.

• Assist in maintaining a healthy and releasable codebase, ensuring high quality as the application expands.

• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools into your workflow to enhance productivity without compromising quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Android development using Kotlin.

• Proficient in Coroutines and Flow, with confidence in applying asynchronous programming patterns.

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining production mobile applications relied upon by real users.

• Familiar with multi-tenant or white-label applications, where a single codebase services numerous deployments.

• Comfortable with AI-assisted development tools, and capable of demonstrating their integration into engineering workflows.

• Hands-on experience with payment solution integrations, such as Stripe, is an advantage.

• Exposure to SDK integrations and public APIs is a bonus.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
