Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing applications that are compatible with all types of Android devices;

• Implementing strategies to protect user data;

• Ensuring that the design and functionality of your applications align with the company’s standards;

• Reviewing your code and rectifying errors prior to the release of each application;

• Collaborating with UI/UX Designers and Software Testers to guarantee each application is visually appealing and functions flawlessly;

• Analyzing app reviews to identify opportunities for enhancements;

• Developing app updates that include bug fixes and new features for deployment;

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles;

• Proficient knowledge of Java;

• Familiarity with the most commonly used design patterns;

• Experience in structured programming and knowledge of MVP/MVC frameworks;

• Understanding of dependency injection;

• Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;

• Proficient in using Git;

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;

• Enthusiasm for keeping up with news and new techniques, avoiding conventional approaches;

• Bonus: Familiarity with Android device sensors;

• Experience working with Google services;

• Knowledge of location-based services;

• Familiarity with Google Firebase;

• Understanding of non-relational databases;

• Knowledge of Google’s app publication process;
