Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Engage in the product definition phase, participate in daily scrums, grooming sessions, and story refinement.

• Contribute to the architectural definition and execution of various key technological components.

• Convert business requirements into technical design specifications.

• Develop comprehensive unit tests, including edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.

• Utilize git for creating pull requests, reviewing code, and merging branches.

• Collaborate with the team and engage in knowledge sharing.

• Incorporate Agile Scrum development methodologies in all research, analysis, prototyping, and interface development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Android development (Kotlin, Android SDK, Java).

• Thorough understanding of Android SDK, performance, and optimization (e.g. AsyncTasks, Adapters, Fragments, Activities, Threading, etc.).

• Strong and demonstrable grasp of object-oriented design patterns and principles.

• Solid understanding of mobile user interface guidelines and best practices.

• Proficient in integrating RESTful web APIs and JSON.

• Experience in planning and drafting technical documentation.

• Exceptional problem-solving and risk management abilities.

• Strong initiative, ability to set priorities, and collaboration skills.

• Nice to have: Experience with Kotlin Multi-Platform.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.

• Experience with GraphQL.

• Background in iOS native development.

• Understanding of SQL and relational database fundamentals.

• Knowledge of code obfuscation and encryption techniques.

• Familiarity with Chromecast implementation and optimization.
