Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing and creating enterprise-level software components in accordance with product specifications.

• Implementing new features or enhancing existing functionalities.

• Diagnosing technical and application-related issues.

• Collaborating on a daily basis with fellow developers throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

• Creating technical documentation pertinent to the Android application to enhance the knowledge repository.

• Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and introducing fresh ideas to the team.

• Producing high-quality code, adhering to guidelines, and executing tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

• At least 3 years of development experience within an agile team using Java/Kotlin.

• Experience in publishing and continuously supporting one or more developed Android applications.

• Proficiency in Git, Gitflow, and strategies for branching and merging.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.

• Expertise in Android SDK.

• Familiarity with MVVM or other contemporary architectural patterns.

• Background in payment systems and marketplaces.

• Experience with pixel-perfect implementation and adherence to Android design guidelines.

• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, processes, and memory management.

• A collaborative team player who is receptive to new ideas.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Understanding of Unit Testing, Feature Testing, and Mocking.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
