This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the creation and validation of predictive and machine-learning models tailored to business requirements.
• Develop and utilize models, inferential statistics, and prescriptive analysis effectively.
• Propose solutions grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the context, relationships, and insights.
• Evaluate deliverables and actively mentor others on methodologies and outcomes.
• Continuously enhance data processes, focusing on improving data efficiency.
• A Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or related quantitative fields, along with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the same areas with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• A decade or more of experience in developing scorecard models within the financial services sector, particularly in credit risk management or fraud.
• Knowledge of best practices for data capture and retention.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL relational data structures.
• Expertise in Python, R, or SAS at an advanced level.
