Air Traffic Control Training – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Offer operational assistance to the TFDM program office and field facilities both prior to and during system installation.

• Enhance activities and communication between TFDM personnel and field facilities.

• Deliver training using validated TFDM Air Traffic instructional materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 7 years of experience; additional experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Significant experience in the design, development, and implementation of NAS air traffic modernization initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of en route and terminal air traffic operations and procedures.

• Familiarity with TFDM functionality.

• Experience in coordinating work efforts involving decision support systems.

• Background in supporting and liaising with operational field facilities during system rollouts.

• Capability to communicate effectively with FAA organizations, such as AMO, AJV, AJT, AJW, and NATCA.

• Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of 7110.65 and its application within the NAS.

• Comprehension of FAA automation and traffic management systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at using both technical and user-friendly language.

• Demonstrated flexibility, self-motivation, and readiness to manage multiple tasks.

• Detail-oriented approach with strong capabilities in researching and analyzing complex technical information and systems.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proven skills in communication, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Capability to meet FAA resume and security approval standards.

• US Citizenship is required.
