This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and maintain air emissions inventories, including greenhouse gases (GHG) and criteria air pollutants.
• Utilize established regulatory methodologies and emission factors in accordance with Canadian guidelines (e.g., TIER, OBPS, NPRI).
• Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of emissions calculations and reporting outputs.
• Analyze and interpret emissions data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the setup and implementation of digital platforms like Enablon AQS and Metrics.
• Convert emissions calculation methodologies into system-based workflows and logic.
• Validate system outputs against manual calculations and compliance requirements.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the continuous optimization of digital tools.
• Create standardized templates, tools, and dashboards to facilitate emissions reporting and analysis.
• Implement automated workflows and data pipelines to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
• Design and uphold comprehensive data quality controls and validation checks.
• Assist in client interactions by delivering high-quality technical and digital solutions within set timelines.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including technical, digital, and regulatory specialists.
• Clearly communicate technical findings, methodologies, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in air emissions or GHG data within the Canadian oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated experience with emissions calculations and regulatory frameworks (e.g., TIER, OBPS, NPRI).
• Experience in handling facility-level data.
• Advanced Excel skills along with strong data management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
