AI Safety Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess AI-generated outputs for safety, factual correctness, adherence to policies, and overall quality.

• Analyze content related to misinformation, political influence, self-harm, violence, cyber threats, biosecurity, and other sensitive areas.

• Develop and enhance evaluation criteria for RLHF, SFT, and AI safety benchmarking.

• Detect unsafe outputs, hallucinations, logical errors, and breaches of policy.

• Deliver structured feedback to enhance model alignment and safety effectiveness.

• Work alongside AI researchers and safety teams on ongoing assessment projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Public Policy, Law, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in AI Safety, Trust & Safety, journalism, public policy, scientific research, security, or a related area.

• Exceptional written English skills.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning abilities.

• Capability to consistently assess complex and policy-sensitive situations.

• Prior experience in AI Safety, RLHF, SFT, Trust & Safety, or AI evaluation is preferred.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, content moderation, or development of evaluation rubrics is preferred.

• Background in reviewing intricate, high-risk, or ambiguous content is preferred.

• Must be eligible to work in one of the specified location-requirement countries.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported.
