AI Platform Engineer – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and spearhead the architecture of the enterprise Generative AI platform.

• Develop and enhance the strategic roadmap for the AI platform.

• Craft scalable architectures utilizing LLMs, SLMs (Small Language Models), RAG, and multi-agent systems.

• Implement and refine fine-tuning strategies for SLMs, focusing on domain adaptation and resource-efficient methods.

• Facilitate self-service AI capabilities for product and engineering teams.

• Create reusable frameworks, blueprints, and accelerators.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines for AI solutions.

• Ensure governance, security, observability, and compliance with regulations.

• Integrate data, models, agents, and applications in a cohesive manner.

• Set standards, best practices, and an AI-specific SDLC (evaluation, testing, and deployment).

• Act as a technical reference and foster cross-functional collaboration.

• Implement an agent engineering platform for observability, evaluation, and tracing.

• Develop frameworks aimed at continuous quality improvement of agents.

• Enable no-code / low-code agents for widespread adoption by business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Generative AI, including LLMs, SLMs, and RAG architectures.

• Practical experience with model fine-tuning (particularly SLMs) and customizing models for specific applications.

• Demonstrated expertise in architecting and constructing platforms at scale.

• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry.

• Experience with Databricks Agent Bricks.

• Knowledge in defining an AI SDLC (evaluation, monitoring, and deployment).

• Background in governance, security, and observability in AI.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical AI solutions.

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services) is advantageous.

• Proficiency with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.

• Experience with agent-based architectures (multi-agent systems).

• Awareness of AI cost optimization.

• Experience with advanced observability (monitoring, tracing, and logging).

• Previous involvement in AI-driven digital transformation initiatives.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
