This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and develop AI solutions utilizing Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Create reusable AI services, agent frameworks, prompt registries, evaluation pipelines, MCP integrations, and tool catalogs.
• Set engineering standards for the development of enterprise AI solutions.
• Develop reference architectures for agents, RAG, tool invocation, multi-agent workflows, and Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) processes.
• Offer technical advice on the appropriate usage of Copilot, Foundry, Agentforce, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, and private models.
• Design AI-driven solutions leveraging OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI.
• Establish reusable AI-ready data patterns and provide necessary guidance to data engineering teams.
• Advise on monitoring, telemetry, evaluation frameworks, token tracking, cost allocation, prompt performance, and agent reliability metrics.
• Assist with deployment, rollback, versioning, and incident response efforts.
• Implement prompt versioning using GitHub, agent approval workflows, model routing controls, tool access management, and usage monitoring.
• Automate quality control processes with agents in collaboration with the innovation architect.
• Collaborate with team members as well as IT and business functions.
• Convert business use cases into reusable technical solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in building solutions with Azure AI services.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Git, CI/CD, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, and MCP.
• Azure AI Engineer Associate certification.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, vector databases, and familiarity with regulated industries employing over 1000 employees.
