This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and launch machine learning-powered solutions on CertifyOS’s provider data platform.

• Create, execute, and sustain ML-based services and data workflows using Python.

• Implement software engineering best practices, such as clean coding, unit and integration testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and thorough documentation.

• Construct and uphold evaluation pipelines and performance metrics for both models and systems.

• Deploy and manage ML services on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.

• Diagnose and enhance ML services for reliability, latency, and accuracy.

• Collaborate effectively with product, operations, engineering, and data teams.

• Articulate trade-offs, risks, timelines, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer.

• Strong command of Python and demonstrated experience in building production-grade services.

• Practical experience in deploying and managing workloads on Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries.

• Solid foundation in software engineering principles, including testing, debugging, Git, CI/CD, and monitoring.

• Experience in defining ML metrics, creating evaluation datasets, conducting experiments, and analyzing results.

• Capacity to work autonomously and manage projects with minimal oversight.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfort in proactively engaging with internal stakeholders to gather requirements.

• Background in developing end-to-end machine learning projects from problem identification to model evaluation.

• Bonus: Experience with Java programming, GCP data pipelines or ETL processes, healthcare data/compliance/PII, and tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or custom dashboards.
