AI Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct 11-week live, synchronous online courses employing engaging, student-focused instructional strategies.

• Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages active learning and student engagement.

• Deliver timely and constructive feedback while addressing student inquiries within one to two business days.

• Hold weekly office hours for student support.

• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants in co-managing the course, including mentoring them on effective grading and student engagement techniques.

• Assess student progress, keep grade records, and submit evaluations at mid-quarter and the end of the quarter.

• Engage in optional professional development and peer-sharing sessions organized by Campus.

• Have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities (such as guest speaking or networking events) to share your unique expertise with the wider Campus community.

• Utilize Campus-provided training and resources to effectively implement embedded AI tools and contemporary pedagogical practices in your online classroom.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in a relevant field is required; a PhD or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate college or university level is required.

• Preferred: Experience in teaching online, synchronous (live), or hybrid formats.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.

• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing software.

• Ability to adapt to new educational technologies and a willingness to incorporate AI-powered tools into your teaching.

• Must be proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality online education.

• A passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

• Availability to dedicate 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.
