AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Creating and integrating applications and services powered by AI.

• Implementing APIs for external large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Bedrock.

• Deploying open-source models like Llama in scalable settings.

• Contributing to our internal agent service and its incorporation into our web application.

• Enhancing ReAct-Loop workflows with tool invocation.

• Engaging in prompt engineering to enhance system performance.

• Developing functional components for real-time web GIS interactions.

• Designing and conducting evaluations against ground-truth datasets.

• Optimizing latency, response quality, and cost considerations across AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing production software using Python.

• Practical experience in integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or similar).

• Hands-on experience with agentic patterns: ReAct loops, tool/function invocation, structured outputs, and prompt engineering for consistency.

• Strong foundations in software engineering: API design, testing, version control, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in designing and executing evaluations for LLM systems against ground-truth datasets, with an understanding of quality, latency, and cost trade-offs.

• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, gRPC/protobuf, and Postgres.

• Expertise in AI frameworks such as LangGraph, BAML, MLflow, along with a solid understanding of RAG and vector search patterns (Bedrock preferred).
