This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the company's AI adoption from start to finish: promoting awareness, providing training, activating initiatives, and measuring business value across all departments.
• Manage the operational rhythm of the AI Center of Excellence, which includes overseeing the champions network, facilitating office hours, handling intake and prioritization, and maintaining the adoption scoreboard.
• Recruit, mentor, and assist at least one champion in each department, ensuring they have dedicated time, while also cultivating a support bench.
• Lead cross-functional AI teams that pair an AI-skilled engineer with a department subject matter expert, working in ten-day sprints that deliver measurable results before and after implementation.
• Provide training at various levels, focusing on a foundation of AI fluency for everyone, alongside advanced training for specialized positions and champions.
• Manage the shared skills library and the distribution pipeline in collaboration with Engineering.
• Track adoption and outcomes, including converted workflows, hours saved, and financial impact; prepare monthly reports for executive staff.
• Oversee the AI tooling portfolio and manage expenditures within budget limits; assess vendors and phase out tools that do not provide value.
• Share documented successes in common channels to attract future builders.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, operations, or enablement roles.
• At least 2 years of experience leading the adoption of a platform or practice throughout an organization.
• A minimum of 1 year within the last 2 years directly involved in building, leading, or influencing AI initiatives at the company level.
• Proficient hands-on builder: capable of scripting, calling APIs, and creating automations independently.
• Developed AI workflows that are now relied upon by others.
• Demonstrated training and facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Unyielding resourcefulness in leveraging AI technologies.
• A high-empathy operator who can quickly learn departmental workflows and establish trust.
• Evidence of measurable outcomes with clearly defined before and after metrics.
• Bonus: Experience in forward-deployed engineering roles at an AI lab, consultancy, or product company.
• Bonus: Background in procurement, supply chain, or B2B SaaS domains.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI governance frameworks such as ISO 42001, the NIST AI RMF, and SOC 2.
