AI Deployment Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Virtual Agent deployments from initiation through to live operation and user adoption.

• Establish deployment strategies, coordinate with operations, IT, executives, and clients, and ensure accountability among stakeholders.

• Identify undocumented operational workflows, including volumes, exceptions, decision-making processes, and informal agreements.

• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and translate operational insights into well-defined engineering scopes and requirements.

• Provide guidance to clients on automation strategies, sequencing, and clear trade-offs.

• Collaborate with Implementation Engineers regarding technical design, integrations, access, data considerations, and feasibility.

• Define success metrics, establish customer baselines, and lead pilot projects into full production services.

• Transform deployment insights into playbooks, reusable frameworks, and product specifications.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance and develop the AI Deployment function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in management, technology, or transformation consulting, implementation, or professional services.

• Proven experience in roles such as AI Deployment Lead, Engagement Manager, Project Leader, or similar, managing programs from start to finish.

• Experience in leading engagements rather than just providing staffing solutions.

• Familiarity with operating within complex, chaotic, undocumented, and internally contested environments.

• Capability to structure operational processes into formats that technical teams can implement.

• Proficient in managing multiple deployments concurrently with conflicting priorities and various stakeholder groups.

• Technical understanding of integrations, access, data, and feasibility; coding skills are not mandatory.

• Strong presence with operations teams and executive steering committees.

• Skilled in addressing objections and organizational resistance to automation initiatives.

• Highly analytical, meticulously organized, and detail-oriented.

• Self-sufficient and entrepreneurial in a developing environment.

• Background in Big Four or MBB consulting is preferred.

• Experience with SaaS or AI product implementations is a plus.

• Background in intelligent automation or RPA delivery is advantageous.

• Familiarity with insurance, healthcare, or other regulated operational settings is a bonus.

• Experience in startups or rapidly growing companies establishing processes from the ground up is a plus.
