Admissions Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consults with and provides guidance to prospective students to collaboratively identify their goals, recommend solutions regarding degree planning, payment options, transfer credits, and other enrollment choices, and execute a plan of action to help students reach their specified objectives.

• Conducts timely follow-ups with prospective students through phone calls, emails, or other digital communication methods.

• Makes informed admissions decisions regarding the fulfillment of admission criteria and follow-up approaches.

• Safeguards the confidentiality of student accounts in accordance with federal student privacy regulations (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act).

• Assesses the academic records and documentation of prospective students for admission into APUS programs.

• Exhibits proficiency in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other software tools relevant to Admissions.

• Addresses routine and escalated issues on behalf of prospective students in a professional and efficient manner.

• Fosters productive working relationships with various University departments, including Financial Aid, Fulfillment, Veteran and GI Bill assistance, Student Services, and Marketing.

• Achieves or surpasses performance objectives and metrics set by department leadership.

• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.

• Complies with the assigned work schedule.

• Implements campaigns and follow-up strategies for student recruitment and enrollment.

• Undertakes additional responsibilities and assists with special projects as directed by department leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, service, online or higher education is preferred.

• An Associate's Degree is required.
