Admissions Application Reader – Part-time, Remote, Flexible Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Evaluate admissions applications and assign scores according to a defined rubric.

• Enter responses into the admissions reader portal.

• Remain updated on communications and notifications from the reader team via Slack and email.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the application reading process for admissions.

• Contribute to shaping BYU’s incoming cohort by assisting the admissions office in identifying suitable applicants.

• Commit to approximately 20 hours of work weekly from the date of hire until mid-January, with availability during the holiday season.

• Be accessible during two specified one-week periods in early June and August.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of high school and four years of professional experience.

• Strong reading comprehension skills.

• Proficiency in time management.

• Capability to follow instructions accurately.

• Dependable and trustworthy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Access to a computer and the internet.

• Availability for around 20 hours per week through mid-January, including the holiday season.

• Availability during two designated one-week periods in early June and August.

• Employees must adhere to the CES Honor Code and the Dress and Grooming Standards set by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
