This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Arrange and coordinate intricate activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and departmental initiatives.
• Submit tax returns, extensions, and estimates in both electronic and physical formats.
• Generate zero extensions using tax software.
• E-file tax returns.
• Oversee the collection of signed e-File authorizations.
• Draft and review client engagement letters and responses to the IRS and other tax authorities.
• Manage invoicing and reporting within a professional services framework.
• Prepare expense reports.
• Handle confidential communications and files, as well as onboarding new clients.
• Coordinate and oversee workflow with the team.
• Track due dates to ensure compliance with IRS and tax authority deadlines.
• Manage prospects and leads for partner opportunities.
• Report using various software programs.
• Create Microsoft Excel reports utilizing intermediate formulas, charts, and graphs.
• Evaluate and modify operating practices to enhance efficiency.
• Serve as the department's ambassador.
• Independently manage special projects.
• Review final documents for spelling, grammar, formatting, accuracy, and clarity.
• Acquire proficiency in Aprio’s Windows-based applications.
• Over 5 years of administrative experience; experience in a tax practice is advantageous.
• Proficient in Intermediate to Advanced Excel, with a knack for learning features and formulas.
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word.
• Technologically adept.
• Capable of managing relationships upwards.
• Able to analyze and refine operating practices to improve efficiency.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic, time-sensitive office setting.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing with strong problem-solving abilities and self-direction.
• Skilled at interacting with a diverse range of external clients and internal associates at all organization levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills with a commitment to timely project delivery.
• Capable of organizing and prioritizing large amounts of information and calls.
• Able to work independently and oversee special projects.
• Strong proofreading skills for spelling, grammar, and formatting, ensuring accuracy and clarity of final copies.
• Quick learner of Aprio’s Windows-based applications.
