This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.
• Assists recovery services personnel by managing activities associated with donor assessment and recovery.
• Collaborates closely with the Referral Coordinator (RC) to ensure the highest standards of support and customer service.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all active donors and referrals.
• Offers real-time direction and guidance to staff regarding identification, evaluation, authorization, clinical management, organ allocation, and surgical recovery.
• Participates in review, educational initiatives, and mandatory organizational meetings to facilitate the sharing of best practices.
• Provides regulatory oversight and validation of critical components of the donation process.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education, management experience, and/or AOC.
• At least three years of experience as a clinical coordinator in a procurement organization or two years in management and/or AOC.
• Extensive knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, along with excellent customer service skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Proficiency in prioritizing remote work (computer and smartphone) to meet the objectives related to all active donors and referrals, ensuring the needs of all stakeholders are met.
