Administrador/a Backup Veeam, IBM Storage Protect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in Veeam Backup & Replication environments.

• Management, support, and troubleshooting in Veeam Karsten.

• Operation and management of Veeam Data Cloud in hybrid and cloud environments.

• Administration of Veeam Enterprise Manager and Veeam One, including monitoring and reporting.

• Installation, administration, maintenance, and incident resolution in IBM Storage Protect Suite (TSM).

• Monitoring, analysis, and optimization of backup infrastructures.

• Management of retention policies, backups, and disaster recovery (DR).

• Execution of restorations and data recovery in critical environments.

• Incident resolution and troubleshooting in production backup platforms.

• Migrations, upgrades, and evolutionary maintenance of backup platforms.

• Collaboration with systems, cloud, and architecture teams on infrastructure projects.

• Automation of tasks and continuous improvement of backup and recovery processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in managing enterprise backup environments.

• Proven experience in Veeam Backup & Replication (installation, administration, maintenance, and incident resolution).

• Knowledge of Veeam Karsten.

• Experience with Veeam Data Cloud.

• Familiarity with Veeam Enterprise Manager and Veeam One.

• Experience in IBM Storage Protect Suite (TSM) (installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting).

• Understanding of backup architectures, data retention, and recovery.

• Experience in critical production environments and disaster recovery (DR).

• Strong analytical skills, technical documentation, and teamwork capabilities.

• Preferred experience in process automation using Ansible Automation Platform applied to storage and backup environments.
