
Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conduct intake evaluations to assess Member preparedness and identify the suitable level of care.
• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
• Offer crisis support and organize appropriate referrals as necessary.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Work in conjunction with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge plans.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable state laws.
• Hold an active and verifiable Virginia counseling license as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSATP, or LPC Resident, as well as any necessary licensing from your state of residence if it differs from Virginia. All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website during the application process.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.
• Committed to supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, mission-oriented startup environment.
• Possess a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet access.
