Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake evaluations to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care.

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis support and facilitate appropriate referrals as necessary.

• Ensure timely and precise documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Work in partnership with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Guarantee adherence to HIPAA regulations and all applicable state laws.

• Candidates must hold a license in their respective state, with all credentials verified through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and verifiable Maryland counseling licenses such as LCSW-C, LCPC, LCADC, or LCMFT, along with your state of residence. All credentials must be verified through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Committed to supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.

• Possess a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet access.
